Golf
Fairfield Glade, Lake Tansi, Dogwood Hills. Living on the fairway.
Crossville bills itself as the Golf Capital of Tennessee, and the courses on the Plateau are why buyers shortlist this region against Florida and the Carolinas. Cooler summers, a lower cost of entry, and several communities where the course is part of the neighborhood rather than a drive away.
Fairfield Glade
The largest of the Plateau golf communities — multiple courses plus lakes, pools, and trails. The widest range of housing stock, from patio homes to lakefront.
Lake Tansi
More residential than resort. Lower dues than the Glade with course access included — a common landing spot for primary-home buyers rather than seasonal ones.
Crossville-area courses
Several public and semi-private courses sit outside the gated communities, including the state park course. Worth a look if you want the golf without the HOA.
